Be honest, you were the aTm fan who tried to attack Dak's father at the game, weren't you?

Serious question: Is this real? First I've heard of it. Link?

I honestly haven't figured out why they would pick this game over LSU/Fl.. Bama would be my guess. If it were strictly based on the best matchup, I would have thought LSU and the Gators was the easy pick for the same reasons you listed.

CBS knows that the tsip jr. ags would rather hang out in a wine and cheese atmosphere and watch the game on TV than support their team in person.

Ags used to be known as the hard-asses in Texas, but they've tried so hard to surpass UT that they've lost their identity and become a pampered, entitled and delusional fanbase. It's sad really. Ratings might be good for this game, but that's a symptom of a disease spreading through the ag fanbase--apathy.

Glad our AD told CBS to shove it and give us our night game. Since this will be the biggest and most watched game of that weekend we probably had ESPN in our back pocket ready to pounce when we told CBS thanks but no thanks you can let A&M have it

It's because of TV sets. The majority of America will tune in see if Bama loses. This game will get a lot of attention in Texas because UT looks horrible. This game will have a larger viewing audience

Jesus. You people will try to troll about anything.

I'd bet my last red cent that if you polled 1,000 LSU fans 950 would choose a CBS night game over a day game. Enjoy whatever it is that you're getting out of this "win."

Ok since I messed up earlier when asking, I'll ask again, correctly this time. Why would FLORIDA be happy with this? Everybody knows night games are better for the home team. Away teams hope for 2:30 kick, while home teams hope for non 2:30 kick.

If yall still haven't figured it out it's because A&M-Bama has greater SEC championship implications than LSU-Florida.

It's also essentially a must-win game for both A&M and Bama. TAMU loses and they're out of the playoff hunt (sorry, Aggy) and if Bama loses, so are they.

CBS usually chooses the game that means the most all other things being equal.

But again, we wanted a night game. And clearly y'all got some sense of accomplishment out of this. So we're all happy.
