Looking at the past 30 years or so it seems they just haven't been able to do it? If I were a high school QB and wanted to play in the NFL, I know where I wouldn't be attending.

I'm an LSU fan and even I find this to be a pathetic troll attempt.

Because there is so little room inside your head.

We've had plenty of quarterbacks make it to the NFL and last for several years. Obviously not many starters, but not many schools in the country can say they had 4 consecutive quarterbacks make it with an NFL team and last for at least 3 years in the league.

First off not many schools consistently turn out NFL QBs. We did produce Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler and Richard Todd.

I think our system now is not really set up to produce NFL QBs. We tend to develop QBs that can work well within our system which is more than what most coaches can do. I think Kiffin has the ability to develop a great QB one day but I think this will probably be his last year with Alabama.

I hear that AJ is actually starting to look pretty good. on the bright side we do seem to do a very good job developing what we have into very good QBs for our system and I don't think some schools can say that!

Is this a response thread to an earlier thread making fun of Auburn?

I know you said the last 30 years but they DO have three hall of famers. That's not nothing.

Honestly, I can't think of any major program that's produced many NFL ready QBs over the last 30 years.

There are only 32 starting NFL QB's and only around 20 of them are entrenched, consistent starters. The rest are guys like Brodie Croyle who start a few years, then get replaced, etc.

So having said that, what schools are currently putting out a large number of starting NFL QB's? The answer is none. NC State would be the closest I can think of with Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, and Mike Glennon.

That was my first thought. This guy's got to be an alter.

Alters and trolls are usually the only ones who start crappy hit n run threads.

A. J. McCarron might be able to do something if he gets a chance. McCarron doesn't have the most powerful arm but he is smart and smooth. Bama fans seem to have turned against the guy in spite of leading the team to national championships.

If Georgia ever gets a QB who does as well as McCarron he will be an immortal forever.

I still follow him and wish him well.

He just had a little time period where he should have shut up more often is all.
