Why are you all so high on Coker?

The guy couldn't even beat out Sims. And he was barely above average , if not average.
I just don't get it.
At least we know our QB situation is a hot dump.

Bammers are a delusional group. Their QB situation sucks, for the immediate future, and has them out of title contention this year.

Nothing wrong with being high on Coke.
Sims was definitely an above average college QB last year. It was a surprise given his tenure at Bama up until last year, but it is true.
I don't think people are really that high on Coker (you may be getting trolled a bit), but given what Kiffin did with Sims, there is reason for optimism that Coker could also be good enough for another SEC championship and playoff birth (like last year with the "average" Sims). If the defense is a bit better, could possible do better than that.

I think Cornwell gets the job, here's a glimpse of what the sec gonna have to deal with this year.
