Why are UF fans so defensive of the AD?

Last year everyone, even LSU fans, recognized the incompetence of the LSU AD handling the Les Miles firing fake out. Why can't UF fans here do the same thing? Just because you're a UF fan, doesn't mean you have to support every decision your AD makes. It's obvious they took advantage of a crappy situation in the best interest for themselves only. I can't say I blame them, I'm just confused what UF fans get out of pretending that isn't what happened. Hell, on a mostly shitty trash talk board like this, I'd think they'd all be rubbing the farce they got away with in everyone's face.

Why would they be upset with him. He got them out of a beat down. Their injured D-line and crippled QB were about to be demoralized in their stadium.

The game should be played Sat, Sun, or Monday in Gainesville. But if not, I 100% back Foley not wanting to play in BR or anywhere else. The schedule says this was a UF home game.

Honestly, I wish they were playing the game. But I'm not going to pretend I know all the logistics of putting a football game together like all the LSU fans are doing. Yes, they seemed to have screwed up and it pisses me off a little. But in the grand scheme of things NEITHER team is going to win their division with or without this game.

No reason they should be. They should be celebrating what a great job he did for them with getting this game cancelled. It just seems a great number of UF fans are pretending that it was just an unavoidable cancellation and what a damn shame. I'd be on here dogging UT fans all day about how they'll get screwed out of winning the division haha.
