Why are the adidas schools the runts of the SEC?

There seems to be a correlation between the schools with apparel provided by adidas and their excellence on the football field.

TAMU - all talk, never finishes higher than 3rd in the West
UT-Knoxville - all talk, hasn't been relevant since Home Improvement was on the air
Mississippi State - creates gimmicky uniforms and can't win big games, even during their best year in recent history

Meanwhile, the Nike schools - LSU, Ole Miss, Bama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia - are shining examples of excellence in football and are the class of the SEC.

Nike is a better company than adidas, and the SEC is extending that image into the college athletics world.

nike outbids addidas.

Its not a coincidence that the 4 playoff teams were all nike.

Nike pays top dollar for top teams.

Nike would trade just about any school to pick up Notre Dame.

This is valid except for Arkansas being a Nike school. They suck at sports and Nike gives them a shite product. Anomoly I guess.

If Nike really wanted ND, they would buy them.

Look at that. A bottom of the barrel team getting its first ever win vs a superior school.

True. Ole Miss is full of Texas kids who could never get into A&M if they tried.
