The way their administration handled the Miles situation was disgusting and no sane person would want to work for that AD or President.

LSU isn't what they tell us they are. This board is full of mellinials that know LSU 2000-2011.
They don't know the LSU us older folks know that was a upper mid-tier program that is a longshot to be elite.

As an LSU fan, I cab recognize it's because:
1. They'd have to play Bama every year and beat them regularly for job security
2. Shitshow athletic department with interference from the academic side of the house
3. Unrealistic expectations from fanbase. "If they'll fire ____ for going __ - __, what chance do I have?"

Did not "pass" on LSU. Our idiot AD passed on Herman after he got butthurt Herman wanted to consider all options before making a decision.
Asked for a significant raise and once again, our genius AD backed off
HC > OC
We were never even considered. If he would have agreed to stay on as bama's OC, then you could say he "passed" on LSU
