You couldn't score when it mattered. The only decent team you scored on all year was UGA.

The only power 5 team you scored 30 on was UGA and that Iowa team that has like 2 players that would start at any of the big 6 schools.

They were terrible post Grier. May or may not mean much, but that's why.

Del Rio looks to be the starter. He looks like he is primed to have a season similar to Brandon Allen's Sr year. McElwain's teams will be physical upfront and have hard running backs.

A legit QB will bring the offense together. McElwain was always a great play caller.

How does anyone know how Del Rio will actually do at QB? Primed to have a season like Brandon Allen? Ok

Hmmmm, power 5 teams, we scored 50 on 2 power 5 teams, you were one of them. And could have easily scored 70 if we didn't mercy knee for 2 quarters.

Why am I arguing with you? You clearly are stupid, and a butthurt little bro.

I think most assume that the QB play
Cannot be worse than it was the last half of the season. I think most would be right.

The East should be fun this year.

It is the eastern division. I can see where they could win that side. UGA has a new coach that "everyone" thinks is going to be a Jimbo, and UT is the easy favorite, but Butch has won two close games against quality teams since he has been there. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mizzou or UK make at least a run at the title in the east.

Based on...

Brandon Allen was a 5th year senior and a 3rd year starter, and made significant improvements each year.

Luke Del Rio threw 18 passes 2 years ago.

Let's examine the record of "spread" coaches in the SEC

Gus Malzahn:

12-2 the first year. 8-5 the second. 3 games worse

Kevin Sumlin:

11-2 the first year. 9-4 the second. 2 games worse

Hugh Freeze:

7-6 the first year. 8-5 the second. 1 game better

Jim McElwain:

10-4 the first year.

Odds are he does no better than 8-5 in his second year. The trend, outside of spending tremendous sums of money in recruiting, is to lose ground as a new spread coach, particularly in the second year.

If UF has anybody in place of Treon vs. FSU and Alabama, those are 1 score games either way.

You scored on a punt and meaningless late TD while down 3 possessions. You're lucky you didn't get shutout vs bama. Y'all made LF's rushing stats look good vs us.

Not sure why UT is getting the love. Florida will win the east.

I think a lot of it has to do with how bad UF was at the end of last year with Treon Harris . I think everyone would expect the QBs that play this year to be better then Harris. I can under stand why people would pick Tenn to win the east , at some point they have to beat UF .
