He has been mediocre every year thus far - "big win" against ND this year doesn't look that big anymore, lost to Cal who is now 2-2, defense has given up 50, 41 and 50 thus far this season.

Why didnt Herman take the USC job last year?

The last 3 USC HCs have had career setbacks. USC is poison.

Brown left him kinda dry. he actually has to compete for TX recruits. Baylor, A&M, LSU, Bama, Houston, even TCU all getting TX kids.

it is his third year though, at this point there needs to be some sign of progression - i'm not saying he is fired yet, but if he has another bad season and TX thinks that someone else may get Herman before them, they may decide to go ahead and fire Strong

It's probably 1 of 3 - Herman, fisher or Kiffen. LSU is going offense and will keep Aranda on staff for defense. Anyone who thinks LSU will not come out of this much better doesn't know squat. LSU will have a top 25 offense next season.

Yeah. Wasn't thinking that was your stance. Just see it a lot.

He said he was going to cut the fat tho. and by that he meant the thugs and non-team players in general.

Historically, in conference, Bama, UT, UF, UGA, and maybe AU are better than LSU. You're a top 15 all time program but that makes you middle of pack in SEC.

Why Not LSU?

Because he will have many offers and some of them (including staying at UH) might be for the same money that LSU offers plus the chance to have a competent boss.

You can make an argument that LSU is close to UT and better than UGA, although both are debatable.

AU above LSU is a joke though

No one. He asked a question and I answered it. Are you scared of rational answers or something?

The exact same logic LSU fans saw up close when Saban didn't go to Texas (ie the Texas AD was run by meddling boosters and idiots and Saban could do better than that) they are now all ignoring in their own situation.

So instead of arguing against my logic you use an ad hominem attack. Thank you for letting me know I have a valid point in your own way.

Saban didn't go to Texas because of Mack, this is literally the exact opposite situation
