A lot of pain in that post. Live in the present, brother.

And ignorance.

Typical Bobo hater. If Murray spiked it instead, and the tip pass happens the very next play, he would be screaming we should have hurried up and not let them catch up/prepare/etc.

If Georgia wins, will people be talking about firing Saban? If Alabama wins, will people be talking about getting rid of Richt?...there's your answer.

Saban. UGA fans aren't, generally, as crazy as Bama fans.

The in laws are UGA Alumns and long time season ticket holders and they love Richt.

Malzahn.

Compared to those two, his pressure levels could create diamonds.

Tell that to their fans who remember 2008 when Bama crushed them at home or the heart break of the 2012 SEC title game. I assure you their fans and Richt want this game bad and feel tremendous pressure to somewhat vindicate those loses.

I think this is the correct answer. I'm sure Saban puts a ton of pressure on himself but that's tough to measure. I think the pressure on Richt is higher since he needs to break the reputation of losing the big games.

I think 80% of Bama fans feel like Saban has earned a down season, we've been very fortunate the last few years.

As for the teams, UGA can lose and still make the SECCG and the play-offs...if Bama loses, they're pretty much done as far as any championships are concerned so they may feel more pressure as a team...

As for the coaches, I'd say Richt. Fair or unfair, he has the perception hanging over him of never winning the big game and a win tomorrow would go a long ways towards dispelling that...

Nobody except a few crazy talk show and internet Bama fans will be talking about firing Saban if he loses tomorrow. You know that but just want to act like all us crazy bammers will be calling for Saban's head if he loses this game. Saban could go 2-10 this season and 90% of Bama fans and the administration wouldn't have one thought of firing the man.

I wouldn't say earned a down season, but they do occur from time to time. Bama lost three games in 2010 and bounced right back to win back to back titles. I'm not going to freak out if Bama has a 2010 type season and neither are 90% of Bama fans. I would freak out if Bama looked a steaming pile of dog crap on the field like Auburn has much of this season, but since they don't appear to look like that I can handle a down season in stride and look forward to better seasons ahead.

I would think CNS has a little more. but not much more as two loses will make the "bama only loses to bama" argument not compute.

CMR will catch shite, but if he can make it into the SECG he could redeem himself and possibly shake it off if he loses twice to Bama in that one, He gone.

NYC,as usual, is talking out of both sides of his mouth (and arse). Earlier he posted that Saban undoubtedly had more pressure.

Saban is under ZERO pressure.

Eh, the pressure Saban puts on himself is probably pretty crushing.
+1

ANY pressure Nick Saban feels is pressure he put on himself. As a lifelong fan and UA alum, Saban was absolved of any pressure to win a football game the moment he hoisted that 3rd crystal football for Bama.

I don't know why our rival fans can't understand that every ounce of success this team has had since the 2011 championship is fricking GRAVY.

I don't think anyone would call a Saban win over Richt a surprise. If Georgia loses, then it will be sort of business as usual. Saban usually wins. And Georgia is still very much in the driver seat with a lot easier path to wins in the East than Bama in the West.

If Bama loses, the story line is that Alabama is one of the only teams in the West who is winless in conference.

The biggest headline grabber and the angrier fanbase/donors/alumni will be from a Saban loss. Because despite any Vegas oddsmaking, people ultimately do not expect Nick Saban to start off his conference record 0-2 and dead last in the West.

For a guy who "seems unhappy" (of course, the implication being he doesn't like Bama and wants out) he sure has done a lot to put roots in Alabama - both kids are graduates of the university who married graduates of the university, he's moved his mom to Bham, he's opened a business in Bham where his son works in a leadership role, he's got a grandchild in bham. Yeah. He seems miserable and ready to get out ASAP (after 9 years).

What's your point? That he's a stupid man? Ok we get it....thanks.

It's a ridiculous question. One lives on the hot seat while the other has never been near it.

As far as game pressure versus job pressure, Mark's collar is tightening as we post.
