A win for the Dawgs vanquishes a lot of these supposed demons surrounding CMR and buries the painful '08 blackout game and '12 SECC losses. A loss to Bama at home only perpetuates the stigma and bad juju.

A win for Bama and they're right back in the mix for the SECC and the Playoff. A loss and the Tide may be looking at a mediocre season with a lot of questions surrounding the program - i.e. "the dynasty is over".

The homer in me feels like the pressure is on Bama. Their backs are against the wall and they have some serious questions at QB. Not saying that translates to a Dawgs' win, but, a loss doesn't injure our season as badly.

Edit: '08 Blackout Game, duh

Bad matchup for UGA. 17-14 Bama.

Let's not forget: Georgia is expected to win. All the pressure in the world is on Richt now.

I would say Saban's behavior as of late would suggest Bama. Criticizing fans, bitching about unrealistic expectations. The guy seems unhappy and I think a second loss this early in the season puts the spotlight on Alabama's lack of a signature win in the last few years. You might even start to hear *gasp!* actual media talk about Alabama's last couple post-seasons.

Nah. Vegas may think so, but I bet most people still assume Bama wins this game because, well, they're Bama.

Pressure is on Saban. One more loss and you can basically rule out any type of championship.

And LOL at anyone thinking Bama will stop Chubb. Probably the same crowd who thought Bama could stop Auburn's run game in 13.

It's a home game for Georgia and this is one of the best teams Richt has ever fielded. Yet somehow the pressure is on BAMA? How long until people start calling them big game Mark?

This is why the pressure is on Saban. This puts them out of the playoffs very early in the season. hasnt happened in a long time.

Richt by a long shot. Saban has won 3 of the last 6 national titles. He does not have to prove any longer he is a great coach. Richt is still trying to get over the national hump and win the big games. He loses this game and it is just another in a long line of failures on the big stage with few if any victories.

According to LSU fans Saban has been unhappy for the last 8+ years. There is no way you believe the bullshite you just typed.

Saban.

Rumors that he will be fired by noon ET on Sunday if he doesn't win tomorrow.

He probably does. When you tell yourself the same thing over and over and over you eventually start to believe it.

If anything this increases the pressure on Saban & co.

I mean realistically speaking...it should be Richt.
This is his chance to prove that he can win a big game.

Typically these are the high profile games that UGA loses.
