Hopefully Poole is the backup by the LSU game. But I doubt it, since Marlin Lane can't hang on to the ball.

Sam Montgomery, I imagine

So it was the RB, this whole time I was thinking it was one of the OLine

yea it was a running back. he went low and hit sam in the knee because he couldn't handle sam like a man

Montgomery was not engaged at the time. Cut blocks from running backs on DEs are common place.

I don't like it, but it's legal.
That's how Hightower lost his knee vs the pigs.

Obviously you haven't seen Auburn play. Ryan Pugh and Fairley.
It was a straight up block to the legs. It wasn't a crack back to an unaware player. Sam was running straight at him.
Injuries are apart of the game. It sucks, but I do get mad when players like Ryan Pugh have a LONG record of doing it to several players.

He was too, if I remember right he was going up against an OLineman. And this guy went down low

Lsu has been the victim of more chop blocks/dirty plays than all other schools combined

I don't blame the kid. it was legal, even Sam has said he should have been more aware and avoided it. Still i think is is BS that if you touch a Qb it is a penalty but they do nothing to protect defensive players.

Poole is an undersized RB and Montgomery is a beast Dlineman, what would you have done ?

I would have preferred poole not be a bitch and go for sams knee. I would have liked to seen him thrown into the qb.
