Well, we went 3-1 over the weekend including a win over a top 20 team. But I know this much, we found a jewel in a freshman pitcher tonight who came in and pitched the last 5 innings throwing some beautiful stuff.
We are very young coming into the season losing 12 players off last years team plus we have 5 pitchers out for the year ( always heard it comes in bunches) so considering, I think we have done ok.

I agree, and I don't give a rat's arse about softball. MSU has the same uncertainties that A&M has - Aggies lost a LOT of players. Splitting with TT with your new guys is a legitimate accomplishment. Aggies didn't play near that level of competition, but I was sure glad to see so many freshmen playing well. Go Dawgs! Until May 4.
For A&M, a better test is coming up with a 3 game series against Pepperdine next week, then a gauntlet in Houston starting March 3 against Texas Tech, TCU, and Baylor. Winning 2 of those would be swell.

Ah, I have not done my homework on the Sec except I know LSU has a ton back and is loaded and Ole Miss is supposed to field a good team this year.
In the Sec, being such a tough baseball conference, it's so hard to tell much until mid season. Good luck to you guys until we meet lol. I just want everyone to win non-conf games and jack up our Rpi
