Who would have ever thought a Malzahn coached team...

Would not be able to score 1 td against a mediocre State team.
Not me, I seriously thought he was the best offensive coach in the business, college or pro. Things have changed.

I thought the Kerryon Johnson should've gotten more than 5 carries, and maybe couldve been thrown to more. He is a beast, and he looked really good on that first drive.

I definitely did not. I'm sure there are a ton of people on the SECr who would've thought that though.

The gimmick is up now that the sec is flagging the pop play. Gus had a nice run but its back to high school for him.

It was all coaching too last night. We dominated the line of scrimmage, but play calling was atrocious and we continue to make stupid presnap penalties.

I honestly think JJ gives auburn a better shot to win. Sean White is like Cooper Bateman; he's not terrible but he doesn't bring anything to the table... JJ throws pics, but he's a playmaker. Auburns Rush game has fallen off. They will get it together.

Has sec officials decided to flag the poop pplay if linemen past scrimmage at timme of pass

Auburn had the ball inside State's 10 yard line 4 times. Just can't score touchdowns in the redzone. If you look at the 7 losses Auburn has last year and this year, an inability to score touchdowns in redzone played a huge part in least half of those

I didn't like Gus but then I grew to like his offense. I thought it was fun to watch even if a bit chickenshit. I thought he was a brilliant offensive mind. Starting to look like he was really just good at finding loopholes in the rules. Never thought he would fall this far this fast.

I didn't watch the same game you did. I saw Sean White moving the team up and down the field. I saw penalties that killed drives and put Sean in a bad situation as a first time starter.

I seriously don't think some people on here even watch the games. Auburn had 230 yards rushing if you don't factor in quarterback sacks. Sean White had 60 yards rushing individually if you don't count quarterback sacks

Bingo. And the defense played WAY better. Gotta have some better play calling to supplement White's skill set. This was basically Game fricking 1 all over again. Steady improvement from here on out will happen.

You're absolutely right. People see the highlights and think they are fricking experts, because... SECr.

I really believe the exact opposite of that.

The team didn't fold like a cheap tent in the first half like they did last week so that is improvement as well.

I wouldn't have thought this. I am curious to see if the Auburn offense is able to get more production as the season progresses, which would be a sign of them getting coached up. Defense holding State to 17 is not a problem.

Yep. Credit to Muschamp for moving some pieces around and lighting a fire. I'm disappointed in the outcome and fully believe that if we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot, we would have won that game. Overall, though, it was a redshirt freshman making his first ever start against a SEC West opponent and he went 20/28 and the defense showed improvement. We aren't a dumpster fire anymore.

there is nothing brilliant about his offense. it took advantage of the change in play clock and the lax officiating on the downfield rule. thats it
