Les Miles or Phil Fulmer? Their resumes are very similar in a lot of ways with the same number of national championships, SEC championships, major bowl game appearances and top 5 finishes.

Les Miles

Overall: 114-34 record, .770 winning pct
Conference: 62-28 record, .689 winning pct
7-4 Bowl Record
2-1 Record (Major Bowl Games)
One National Championship
Two SEC Titles
Three SEC West Division Titles
Three Top 5 Finishes
Five Top 10 Finishes
Nine Top 25 Finishes

Phil Fulmer

Overall: 152-52 record .745 winning pct
Conference: 96-34 record .738 winning pct
8-7 Bowl Record
1-2 Record (Major Bowl Games)
One National Championship
Two SEC Titles
Five SEC East Division Titles
Three Top 5 Finishes
Six Top 10 Finishes
Thirteen Top 25 Finishes

Miles definitely had a better end to his career.

And he has a higher overall win% too. While playing in a tougher league than Fulmer did.

Philip Fulmer is responsible for a lot of Miles success. If he never gets Bama put on probation do you honestly believe that LSU takes over the west for a half a decade? Saban/Miles and Tommy T. benefitted from Fulmer's cowardice.
