And gets beat again in the SEC championship.

Seems like the East champion is basically 2nd in the SEC every season now.

I'd put money on either UT or UGA. It could end up being a toss up between , UF, UGA, and UT though. This is the season where Butch doesn't have any excuses for losing, but so far, he tends to disappoint a couple times a season in the SEC.

My guess is Florida.

UT, UGA or UF - in that order, in my opinion.

ETA - The worse thing going for the Vols IMO is that they've been dubbed the favorites by so many. How many times have we seen that not pan out?

Feels a lot like 2013 to me, except Tenn is filling the role of GA.

Don't understand the hype for Georgia.

Yet to name a starting QB, the likely starter a true freshman, RB coming off major knee surgery, replacing practically the entire front 7 on defense, and a tough schedule. I see UGA finishing 8-4 or 7-5.

The East will be decided between Florida and Tennessee, and I think the Gators beat Tennessee and repeat as SEC East representatives in Atlanta.

Florida (10-2, 7-1)
Tennessee (9-3, 6-2)
Georgia (7-5, 4-4)
Vandy (6-6, 3-5)
Kentucky (6-6, 3-5)
Mizzou (5-7, 1-7)
South Carolina (3-9, 0-8)

And you didn't mention brand new coaching staff and first time head coach.

You mean by Bama?

Yep, the whole league has been 2nd or worst to Bama for a few years now, West included.

I really do not understand the high expectations for Georgia.

UT will win the East unless they completely fall on their face.

I honestly don't see another team even capable of doing it. I'm seeing a lot of 6-8 win teams.

I think this is the year a 6-2 record could get it done.

A lot of West teams have beat Alabama since an East team last did so.
