Alabama finished second in the SEC in rushing behind Auburn last year and returns its top five rushers from that season. I'm guessing whoever it is it will be between those two teams.

Auburn will be fun to watch with Pettway back. I imagine Georgia will have a say if Eason can keep the defense honest.

Those are definitely the 2 logical choices. Auburn also returns it's top 5 rushers.

ETA:

Actually top 4. And 7 of top 8. My B.

Depends on how Bama uses Hurts next year. Stidham should be able to run in Gus's offense.

Auburn will always be in the mix as long as Gus is there. Having a QB with some legs can't hurt either.

Franklin isn't a QB anymore. And Sean White was actually #6, I was looking attempts instead of yards.

Either way, our top 4 RBs are back and AU always gets rushing production from QB and WR. What's the knock? Yards are yards.

I don't think it will be Auburn this year, as I expect a more pass happy offense (versus what we have seen since Gus Malzahn arrived in Auburn).

I'll say Alabama simply because they have an added dimension as a running quarterback.

Alabama had a true freshman at QB rush for almost 1,000 yards last year. As my barner friend noted above: yards are yards.

No knock. I just found it funny. Especially since neither of those two will be running the ball much unless there's an injury.

Edit: not sure what you were looking at. White and Franklin were both top five for carries.

LSU will be running the jet sweep every other play so LSU is the logical choice. #JetSweepU

So you expect Sean White and Franklin to both get a ton of yards this year?

And does bringing back the top five returning rushers matter when one of them runs for 130 yards?
