Biggest Surprise: Vanderbilt
Biggest Disappointment: Ole Miss

I have an odd feeling that Vanderbilt is gonna surprise a lot of people this year, the first half of the schedule sets up for them to get quite a few wins. They have a talented RB returning, a QB who if he improves can be above average. And if the defense is as good as last year will be capable of competing with most of the teams on their schedule.

I think Ole Miss will be the biggest disappointment, don't get me wrong, they'll be a decent team but I don't think they'll be near as good as years past. Yes, Chad Kelly returns but he's losing some talent on the offensive side of the ball. I think he'll put up good numbers but not as good as last year with Walton, Treadwell and Tunsil leaving on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, I think they could be okay despite losing Nkemdiche, but have a tough schedule and think their ceiling is 9 wins

Biggest Surprise: Texas A&M or Auburn... whoever wins that game. I think the winner of this early game takes 3rd place in the West, which would be a huge surprise.

Biggest Disappointment: Florida. But Ole Miss will also disappoint.

We're projected to finish 3rd in the East, so I'm not sure if that is considered a disappointment

Think Auburn will win 8-9 (may be a surprise, no idea what the expectations for them are)

I didn't say they'd get to 9 wins, I said 9 wins is their ceiling. I don't think they win 9 games

Suprise: Tennessee
Disappointment: Tennessee

Tennessee finally wins the East again, but does so going 9-3, losing to VT OOC. They lose the SECCG to fall to 9-4 going into bowl game.

Ah, my bad
If I've learned anything, never count out anyone in the West.

Surprise: Auburn
Disappointment: LSU

Auburn wins 10 games this year.

Many LSU fans seem to be on the "playoff or bust" train. Odds are we end up disappointed.

Biggest surprise: Florida improves and produces 1000 yards of total offense this season.

Biggest disappointment: Tennessee loses to VT, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

I agree, hell I won't be surprised if Arkansas surprises some people. The defense looks legit and Williams and Whaley seem like they'll pick up where Collins left off

Honestly...that's about what I predict us doing this year. Minimum of 8...max of 10. All depends on the first 4 games.
