I don't remember why I didn't see it. Was Bama that good or Ga that bad? I did watch the GA/Fla game. Georgia just couldn't make plays. Defense was playing well, although they dropped an easy interception early in the game. game wasn't indicative of 27-3.

Was the bama game similar? Georgia just couldn't make the plays?

both LSU and BAma have played in the rain. Without seeing the game, I would think bama's performance against Georgia was more impressive than LSU vs Western Kentucky.

I'd appreciate any scouting report from anyone who has a little time. Thanks.

Georgia got shut down at every level. Georgia didn't make the plays because they didn't even have a chance to make plays.

Combo. I don't think anyone in the nation was beating Bama that day, but we were also really bad.

They couldn't do anything offensively and we were able to move the ball efficiently and not get behind the sticks early.

UGA missed a chance on the first play of the game, but pretty much got shut down after that.

Game was over after the 1st Quarter. It was one of those days you knew Georgia wasn't moving the ball on Bama. Bama was good, Georgia was bad, it was just ugly.

Bama completely shut down Chubb, but Lambert is a terrible QB. He did them no favors.

Bama totally shut down their offense - they never recovered.

Bama shut down the running game, and UGA couldn't get any passing game going. It was domination.

This^

Chubb's stats look better than his actual performance. He got his 100 yds, but it was mostly on one play late in the game.

Our QB situation was/is terrible. We had nothing after the run game was stopped.

Yeah. Chubbs stats ate very skewed by an 80 + yard run at the end of the third, while down 35, during the heaviest rain that day.

I was actually glad to see him get his 100, so that he tied Herschel's record.

As others have said, UGA couldn't do anything on offense. It was 24-3 Bama at the half. UGA made a QB change, Eddie Jackson took the first pass the new guy threw for a pick-6, and UGA quit for the season.

Bama added a TD 3 minutes later to make it 38-3. After that both teams pretty much ran it straight between the tackles to end the game and get in from the monsoon as quickly as possible.
