Honestly, that picked surprised me as well. I think the fact that he was at both TAMU - Alabama games biased him, as Manziel was unbelievable.
He put an Auburn guy in there over all of the Bama guys, so that counts for something.
Archie and Maravich are the two greatest college athletes in his opinion, and there is really no room for discussion.

Madkin isn't the best . He didn't do anything flashy but he did win ball games.

It's either wuerrfel or Tebow. It's really splitting hairs.... But please I dont want to hear anyone credit 2 NC's to Tebow

Newton. He gave Gene Chizik a NC. I'm not sure if any more superhuman feat has ever been accomplished in world history.

Tebow is 2nd after cam. Spurrier is 3rd.

Could you imagine if Cam would have never gotten kicked off the team at Florida and did the same things at Florida? They would have went from tebow, the greatest college career at QB, to Newton who had one of the greatest seasons of all time.

Couple of homer picks:
Steve Taneyhill and Connor shaw. Shaw had one of the most efficient seasons ever by an SEC QB in 2013 (24 TD-1 INT) added more on the ground. And as for taneyhill, led the sec and was #3 or #4 in passing nationally in 1995

I assume you mean besides Andrew Hatch, right? In that case, I'd have to go with Melvin Hill.

Did Butch Jones play QB in the SEC? If he did, then it's him. if he didn't, it's still him.

AJ deserves to be near the top of the career list

Tee Martin.
Martin owns the record for most consecutive pass completions at 25, I believe.
