The best college QB of all time is hands down Tebow

Wuerffel seems a bit underrated in these threads of late.
Heisman Trophy, 2 Davey O'Briens, 2X SEC Player of the Year, 4X SEC champion and 1 national championship.
He is not as dynamic as Tebow or Cam, but he had a special college career in his own right.

College only is Tebow and its not even close.

As a starter Tebow's major accomplishments were he won the Heisman and a NC. It took him two years to do that.
What was the excuse in 2007? That Florida needed their defense to grow up? And in 2009 it was that he lost Harvin.
Newton did both of those in one year.

Are we talking as of today, or three years from today? Three years from today, Jalen Hurts.

One of these players sat the bench behind the other one.

Oh, I'll happily concede Auburn had the better team in 2010 than Florida in 2009 and 2007, but Tebow was a Heisman contender for three years. I was just looking at the QB position, and accomplishments, not the team accomplishments as a whole.
Anyway, it's just my opinion . Career wise, Cam is/was the obvious answer purely based on what he's done in the NFL. He took a last place team, and became a cornerstone on what will certainly become a Super Bowl winning team.

Both were great. Don't be too much of a homer and act like it's a fact that Newton had a better career than Tebow. It is at the very least debatable. Let's compare their college careers:
Freshman year
Tebow - important role off of the bench during a national championship season (3 tds against LSU, 2 tds in the national title game)
Newton - garbage time player. Newton took a medical redshirt his second season.
Sophomore season
Tebow - Heisman winner
Newton - Blinn (he excelled there, but that doesn't count in a discussion about greatest SEC QB)
Junior season
Tebow - National Championship, 1 loss, Heisman finalist (most first place votes), National title game offensive MVP
Newton - National Championship, undefeated, Heisman winner
Senior season
Tebow - SEC east champs, only loss to eventual National Champs Alabama, Sugar Bowl win over previously undefeated Cincinnati (533 yards of total offense, 4 tds), Heisman finalist
Newton - NFL
Newton shone brighter for one year, but Tebow had four impressive seasons.
