I was shocked to see how much faster OU played than Bama played. To think a team as bad as Baylor beat OU is mind boggling after watching them last night.

If you think they didn't, then you weren't watching the game.

Bama didn't know what to do playing from behind. They got down two scores and panic set in. Totally got away from the power run game that sets up everything else they do.

Great win for OU and everybody in 49.5 states was pulling for the Sooners.

Alabama wanted to win the Sugar Bowl - don't doubt it for a second. They wanted to prove that the loss to Auburn was a fluke and now they own a two game losing streak instead and Saban was clearly out coached. Alabama might have also hurt their chances at getting an automatic berth in the 4 team playoff system. Just like in the bad old days of the AP poll championships, the press declared that Alabama was the best team in the nation even though they didn't earn that title. Maybe the playoff committee will think twice about penciling Alabama in every year. Alabama just had a Notre Dame season - soft schedule with a couple of wins against respectable teams and then they were exposed.

^^^THIS^^^^
I live among the Bammers, I assure you, they wanted this game badly to prove they are the best team, (as stated prior to the game by Saban and McCarron). Saban has lost two and a row. Saw a post this morning from a Bama player and they are already laying claim to an undefeated season for next year.

He sure seemed to last night. He threw some serious tantrums, including a major one over that obviously correct PI call.

Damn right he did... he threw his head set about 15 yards out onto the field. The side judge looked at him but was too gutless to throw the flag. NOBODY flags a demi god for throwing a tantrum no matter how deserved. The best part of the game was watching that little turd melt down.

but it was really meaningless except to those seniors and those who will never play a football game again. Actually anything outside of the Championship is meaningless to a team with serious championship aspirations.

Here we go with the meaningless theme again. Everything is meaningless. 95% of games in every teams history were meaningless now. Who knew.

Was speaking about this this morning. Appeared Mosley was the only one on defense that showed up all game. OL looked like they could care less.

Watching their defense reminded me of LSU's defense last year against Clemson, just going through motions not yo get hurt.

I know right? I don't get it. 3 threads on the Rant about Bama and the Sugar Bowl.

F them!! I watched the game, I saw the look of defeat in their eyes. Of course they wanted to win the game and gave a good shite about it!! Really?!?

Obviously their DBs didn't.
Or their D-line.
Or their linebackers.
Or their O-line.
Or their Petunia arse QB.
Or their bulging neck vein midget coach.
Or Jethro and Selma in the stands.

Suicide gumpers? God, I hope they don't gump. It's not worth it over a game.

Alabama may have started not caring but with 6min left in the game it was a 7 pt game, dont tell Alabama didn't care once the game got going. Alabama got their asses handed to them.

yep ... the players and coaches cared plenty ... just got beat by a better team last night ... no two ways about it ...

No excuse TDuck. They still should have played like they wanted it. But they didn't. There were about 4 players last night that deserved to wear crimson and white. The rest need to transfer to Tennessee and butt chug their lives away in inbred country

Alabama struggled away from home against decent competition all year going back to the A&M game.

They only played five games away from home.

A&M
Kentucky
Mississippi State
Auburn
Oklahoma

They just aren't the dominant team they were made out to be.

Bama played 6 games away from home ---> VaTech in the GaDome.

Me duh why could they care. This game was completely worthless for Alabama. Actually they really don't care about any games they just show up and win. This was just an exception because they wanted to go out bad to make next years team look better. So they showed up and played like shite on purpose.
