the timing of freeze's departure is not good for them. why would any coach hang around?
maybe I've been under a rock lately and simply haven't kept up with this very important topic.

That is more likely to happen than the ncaa dismissing the Leo charges and accepting their self imposed sanctions imo.

He's the guy that the rebels were crucifying last year for crappy OL play. He's a good rebel, but bad coach and they wanted better (at least at the end of last season).
Not sure what their party line is now though (particularly since the hookers line is out of service)

Their official line is "the right people are running the program now. He hates State so much he signed his name on top of Mississippi state's logo on the schedule posters at fan day and he doesn't play Amy Grant over loudspeakers anymore during practice like Freezus did. I never underestimate a new coach / team. Luke has been there and knows the system well. Ole Miss is also still going to have talent and play with nothing to lose.
The big key in this are the penalties handed down. If they are severe which I expect them to be, some players will fold up ship while others try to avoid getting hurt thinking about transfering out of that place.
