Walker Buehler. I don't know if we have a clear number one, I guess most people would say Fulmer. Buehler is a first rounder too, though.

Will Fulmer pitch Saturday if Vandy loses?

Why not Carson? He's rested and best to go for the knock-out tomorrow.

Almost certainly but we're gonna go ahead and avoid that and have our rotation ready to restart for the final series.

Yes, Fulmer will pitch Saturday. If he does pitch Saturday he will be available on Wednesday for game 3 of the championship series (how it played out last year).

Well, he's not nearly as rested as Buehler, who hasn't pitched in a couple weeks. We can't win with two pitchers so we need to get Buehler back in motion, and he's no slouch himself. It just works out best to try to win this one with Buehler and then we have Fulmer-Pfeifer-Buehler for the championship series. I honestly don't think there is a big difference in ability between Fulmer and Buehler.

Walker hasn't pitched in what feels like forever. He is ready to bring the heat and mow down some horned frogs.

Yeah, y'all make good points. I'd feel more comfortable with Carson trying to end this series sooner, but that's why I'm not a baseball coach -- I overlooked the longer term aspect.

Yeah, walker hasn't pitched since the 21-0 beat down of Radford, and he only went 50 pitches in that one. He has to pitch tomorrow, and hope that Fulmer can go Monday with a win tomorrow.
