the top 25:

1 Ohio State (62)
2 TCU (1)
3 Alabama (1)
4 Baylor
5 Oregon
6 Michigan State
7 Auburn
8 Florida State
9 Georgia
10 Southern California
11 Notre Dame
12 Clemson
13 LSU
14 UCLA
15 Mississippi
16 Arizona State
17 Georgia Tech
18 Wisconsin
19 Oklahoma
20 Arkansas
21 Stanford
22 Arizona
23 Missouri
24 Boise State
25 Tennessee

Most overrated - Notre Dame; with Boise getting special mention

Most overrated in SEC - Ole Miss - starting at 15? Seems a little too high...

Most underrated - Mizzou, and I don't think it is close. I am struggling to see 3 losses for the Yankee Tigers

Most underrated outside of the SEC - Gotta be Oklahoma, I mean, are Baylor and TCU in the "we just re-load" stage yet? I don't think so. I would say GA Tech; but their schedule is brutal this year...

I think Boise's underrated. I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish in the top 10-15.

Over-rated: Southern Cal at #10 or Southern Cow at #12...take your pick

Under-rated: Oklahoma - Lincoln Riley will immediately help their QB's be highly efficient, no matter who it is. OU also has the talent to run the ball consistently, unlike ECU.

Most overrated: Notre Dame and USC (The media favorites) | I'm not sure why you are hating on boise st. According to the Stassen Chart, Boise st is the most underrated team in the last 25 years. Cumulative Overrated/Underrated Teams

Overrated: Tennessee, they haven't done anything since 2007
To show why they deserve to be ranked
Underrated: Clemson, think they'll take the ACC this year

Alabama, they are starting a new QB, lost their top WR and had a weak secondary. If their name was anyone else they would be ranked in the middle of the pack.

UCLA has been vastly overrated the last couple years, and that was with Hundley, I don't see them competing in a much improved division.

Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss are all ranked too high, I'd be shocked if more than one of those teams end up in the top 15 at the end of the year.

Yep. It has nothing to do with the fact that Alabama has consistently proven top be a top 5 team for the better part of a decade.

Ole Miss defense is the reason for our ranking. If the O line learned to block in the offseason we should be higher.

Most overrated has to be the team that lost to a shite tier Notre Dame in a bowl game.

Notre Dame overall and Alabama has no business in the top 3. Maybe top 10, but not top 3 IMO.
