So no one can back up Fitzpatrick? Just downvotes? Genuinely curious, he's a talented ballplayer

Bamas defensive backfield has been its weakest unit for years. And not that great more often than not.
Yeah, all those All-Americans that are now all-pros and pro bowlers and NFL starters really prove your point.

He plays every position in the defensive backfield better than most anyone can play one

I’ll throw in Jeff Holland. He’s going to make a lot of money after this season assuming he keeps his head on straight, stays out of trouble and doesn’t get injured.

He has been a beast.

So one of those DBs who's great because you never hear his name? Obviously not a big play guy this year really

Just because Bama's secondary hasn't been other wordly like it's D-LINE and Linebacker group doesn't mean it's not been impressive.

Bama has 4 former Safeties that are starters in the NFL and 2 of them were All Pro last year.

Bama has also had 4 CBs under Saban perform well enough to be drafted in the 1st Rd. There have been a few others in 2nd and 3rd as well.

Minkah is the best player in the SEC because of his body of work. Versatile to play all 5 spots in the secondary, he tackles well, and he has scored 5 times on defense in 2 and 1/2 years.

Started and starred on a championship, legendary defense as a true freshman.

Give me a year, I'll give you a game your DB got torched by a QB who avoided your stifling front 7.

You can't even recognize a relative weakness in something you have no impact on. What a fricking character flaw.

Came here to post AJ Brown. He's the best player Ive personally seen in the SEC. I've really only watched all the other teams play once, but I've watched all the Rebs games. So obviously my bias is showin, but frick 'em...AJ a beast, AJ da best

If he wasn't hurt, Deebo Samuel may have ran away with this

I'd argue that right now, Levi Wallace is playing some of the best football in the SEC.

Do I think he is the best prospect, no.
Do I think he is the most athletic, no.
Do I think he will get drafted 1st round, no.

But damn that boy has went from Walk-On to Starter in a sea of 5 stars. As of now he is the best lock down corner in the NCAA by a large margin per PFF
