It's early in the (Off)season and there's a lot of threads to be made, but who would win the offseason championship if the regular season started today?

Vote for your pick:

Auburn
Georgia
Tennessee
LSU

My vote is Auburn. Highest volume of threads, most raw confidence. On pace to beat Tennessee's record performance of last year, but they'll have to keep it up for a few more months.

Auburn, but the draft seem to be putting win on LSU's sails

Agreed. Auburn has had an impressive start, but never doubt the heart of a life champion.

Could be a 2014 Mississippi State story. Unbeaten until it counted most, when the true kings Bama batted them down. Replace MSU with Auburn and Bama with Tennessee.

Is this the Offseason Life Championship or just the regular Offseason Championship? I need to know to vote accordingly.

6 time defending champs are off to a slow start. You're right, Auburn is in the lead currently. But LSU is picking up ground since they had the second highest number of players drafted. I doubt they'll sustain the momentum though.

regular Offseason championship. The OLC is a separate category. The obviously lesser version of the regular season Life Championship.

This is the opposite of Offseason Champions because we are literally saying that LSU under-achieves.

The off-season National Championship is awarded the last week of August, but Auburn is out to an early lead and nobody else is even close.

Auburn was flying high on the basis of Stidham's apparent record breaking spring game performance. But that was before Tennessee's new quarterback completed EVERY SINGLE PASS he threw, AND apparently threw a football in a bucket, AND hit a hail Mary placard in the end zone. Now that the quarterback issue is resoundingly solved, their biggest debate is whether their 5'9" RB will be first or second in the SEC in rushing next year.

Either Butch has hired a bunch of new Vol fans to flood the message boards, or Tennessee is soaring up the off-season rankings.

Agreed. The consensus seems to be a two-team race between Auburn and Tennessee. Should be fun to watch down the stretch.

I think LSU and Georgia were sexy early picks because of their past performances, but neither have really done anything in the past three months to deserve an offseason title IMO.
