Seriously, this sucks a big fricking dick. We're trying to win a national title, and every backup is transferring. If Hurts goes down, we're fricked. Might as well run wildcat the rest of the game.
There should be a transfer exception made for teams in the playoffs.

Most likely scenario is that Bateman sticks around through the playoffs. If that's not possible, Montana Murphy would be the backup. Ardarius Stewart does have a bit of an arm and escapability and could fill the role.

Stewart would be the most likely realistic number two in the event that Hurts went down and Cornwell/Bateman transferred before the playoffs. Ronnie Clark would probably be the #3.

Oh well, it is what it is. I would feel confident with Stewart going wildcat, because he can actually throw the ball.
Seriously, there is no use in getting upset over it, we will just move on, and adapt, like we always do.
