The offensive line, normally a strength In this conference, seems to be down as a whole this year. I really can't think of any dominant lines off the top of my head so I guess my vote goes to Bama just based off of star caliber and the fact that they haven't looked abysmal so far.

Based on what I've seen?
Bama.
Saban and co know how to develop an offensive line.

Ole Miss. You don't get to chuck the ball downfield as often as they do without solid pass protection. Yeah Kelly can move but more often that not he's just had a lot of time to pick his target and chuck it.

Georgia respectfully withdraws its name from consideration

I feel like pretty much every team in the league had issues at OL... bama looks the best... A&M looks okay, but nothing special. Arkansas isn't as good as the last couple years... same for auburn.

Bama's oline isn't what it has been in recent years. I don't know. Ole Miss is best at passing and aTm is best at running. I am not sure if there is a clear cut best o-line in the conference this year.

For a passing team, sacks can tell you part of the story. Tennessee in 5th in the country in fewest sacks allowed -- a full sack/game less than #2 -- Arky.
Which in turn brings up the fact that sacks don't tell the whole story -- as Austin Allen's left lung still lying out on the field in Arlington was in no small part due to how bad Arky's O-line played on Saturday.

with the exception of UCLA... our O line has looked pretty damn good. They're not the biggest, so our O line coach has to scheme differently, but whatever he's doing is working, cause we got big holes for running in and our qb consistently has a pocket to throw from. Can't ask too much else.

Can we have our 2012 line back, please?

I believe that's all Mr. Garrett... they sacrificed an extra blocker nearly the whole game to account for Myles and left a space open for an extra runner from the second Defensive level. This doesn't happen without MG.

Georgia has the best if you're looking for the worst

In pass protection? OM
In run blocking? A&M
Combination of the two? Bama
So no clear cut winner this year, though of course that can change over the course of the season.

As a representative of the South Carolina community, we will throw our name in for the absolute worst O-line in the conference.

Ill put our pass pro up against anyone, but our run blocking leaves something to be desired.
