That is not true.

Lewis Neal - 7 sacks last year. IDK his stats this year
Davon Godchaux - I know he had at least 2 sacks last night
Sucks that Lacatore is out still, but we have more than just Key.

Key is just relentless and always flying past the 1st attempted block forcing he QB to make a quick decision.

What was your clue? Where I said "before yesterday?"

Alabama got 5 sacks yesterday. You really think one game is going to significantly affect rankings after 8 total games?

You're an Auburn fan, so you're supposed to be intelligent, right? Go pull up the season NCAA stats and update them yourself, then come back and let us know if they have changed significatly. You can handle that, can't you?

Do you watch the games? Should I cherry pick stats and say AU's defense is better than Bama's because we allow less points per game?

You're really not this stupid, are you? "Cherry picking stats" isn't taking the entire seasons stats for every relevant stat for the D line.

LSU's interior dline play has been passable at best. Not on the same level across the entire front as Alabama or Auburn's.

Hmmm, I guess Auburn's defense is better than Bama's, since they are allowing less points per game. Guess your cherry picked stats trump what everyone is watching in the games.

BTW, stats say that Florida has the best defense in the SEC. Guess all that's settled.

Oh and to blow another hole in your argument. After some quick research, Auburn's d-line has more sacks than Bama's d-line. The majority of your sacks are coming from LBs.

A more relevant stat would be rushing TDs allowed which Auburn and LSU have allowed 4 and Bama 3.

Yeah, I was skeptical of LSUs defense because they were soft last year. I came away REALLY impressed yesterday. Bust mostly because I thought the dbs and linebackers, especially Beckwith, played phenomenally. Aggies, Auburn, and bama have scary fronts. Tennessee and Florida and LSU just behind them. Ours has been a tremendous disappointment. Last two weeks in particular.

Auburn's d line has been pretty exceptional, except for their loss to A&M. They were lights out Saturday night.

Florida's not getting a lot of respect, in spite of giving up only 34 points in 5 wins. Y'all are 5-1 (3-1 SEC) and yet no one outside of Florida thinks the Gators are any good. We'll see y'all demolish the Dawgs this Saturday. I don't expect the game to be close at all.

Good thing all these teams play each other to let the chips fall where they may.

As a college fan I am amazed at the level of talent on several teams. It is what separates the SEC from other leagues.

I never thought Auburn's defense would even be considered a top 3 defense in the SEC so I don't give a damn where anyone wants to put us beyond third.

Been traveling all day and just realized you replied to one of my few comments here. I didn't read the whole thread, just your dumbass post. If you offered greater context to said dumbass post elsewhere in the thread, I didn't read it, still didn't. My apologies for not following the entire waterfall of your thought diarrhea.

According to the data that you provided, LSU has a significantly better DLine than Auburn. for the rest of us, with eyeballs and an IQ over 80, your statistics prove only your inability to comprehend them.

Auburn probably has the best DLine in the SEC...told you that to start the season. But it's debatable between Auburn, Bama, LSU and TAMU. Bama's front 7 is far and away the best in the league. It's kind of hard to tell though on Bama's DLine...Bama's scheme, as you may or may not be aware, doesn't tend to generate great stats for their DLine...really is a LB's dream. But that wasn't the question, was it? DLine was the question. So you really are putting your mastery of statistics and reading comprehension on full display aren't you? Not to bump the post to embarrass you...I just now have gotten around to replying. Sorry for the delay.
