Who has the best band in the SEC??

I am not talking about on the field with formations and shite...
I am talking about during the game..
One thing I have noticed was that the USCe band would not shut the frick up the other night... I mean every fricking play was holy shite I am about to rip my eyeballs out if I hear them play this shite again
I think for me, LSU is legit. I love when LSU gets a first down and they play that Mexican sounding song.. Reminds me of the New Orleans in Mexico City
Next, I would have to go with the Florida Gators.. I mean hell, it's great to be a Florida Gator even though Tebow isn't there singing it with them...
Third, I gotta tip my hat off to Auburn.. They play Sandstorm and the Apotheosis song every 15.9 seconds.. but they have a cute fight song
The Alabama band is ok.. they only have three songs on their playlist.. You would think that if a band had a million $ they would have more than three songs on their playlist.. But, I am sure they are Bear Bryant's favorite tunes..
I love the Goooo Georgia Bulldogs Chant.. I feel like I am back in 10th grade waiting for my High School to win district..
Rocky Top?? It just reminds me of overweight alcoholics who refuse to shave their beards and spit dip on the 18 people sitting in front of them in the exact same chair.. Neyland Stadium can fit 18 skinny and 2 fat people per chair right?
Other than these shite bands..I think all the others below them are complete and utter shitty..
Every band plays the exact same thing except for first downs and touch downs..
The Hotty Toddy thing is kind of cool.. we get to hear extremely hot sorority girls say a cuss word.. That's kind of a turn on...
The Pig thing was kinda cool at Arkansas until ... well, never mind, I don't want to kick them while they are high against their impressive win against Auburn..
I gotta admit though.. that Rammer Jammer thing that those redneck inbreeds do after each game is pretty cool... Hell, I even named myself that on a LSU website that I am about to get banned again on...
Y'all have a good night.. I'm off to Wal-Mart to walk around for a few hours.. It's the only mall I go to to look at trophies.

I will be honest...at the game saturday the LSU band was rather quiet and when they did play it wasnt very loud. Bama last year was REALLY loud in the Swamp...just an observation.

It was probably quiet due to LSU's anemic offense that struggled to get a first down all game.

To be honest, the quality of the bands are more or less the same, it really just comes down to the band director. Some band directors are more concerned with winning competitions, while others are more concerned with providing a good gameday atmosphere.
Tennessee's halftime show was pretty cool the first time I saw it - but not so much the tenth time. They've been doing that same thing for like 30 years.
LSU must have a younger or hipper band director or something. I assume this just from their playin "Gangnam Style."
Alabama's director needs to get in touch with the times. "Basket Case" and other Green Day/Semisonic shite doesn't cut the mustard.

There is no other Green Day/Semisonic shite. Just Basket Case. They also play Kanye.
And the band tried to end the tradition of playing Basket Case at the beginning of the 4th a few years ago. Students protested. The Crimson White did a student poll and it was like 98% in favor of keeping. So they changed their minds and kept it. I like it. It's tradition now.

I love our band. The pregame is awesome. I like the first down, third down, and TD songs (I guess that's what they're called).

USC's band has been completely revamped. We have gone from 180 members to 310. Most of the increase is brass. We got a new band director a couple of years ago. She fame from LSU -- which is why the band never stops. She has special gangster for first downs, defensive stops,etc -ala LSU.
It's been great. A big part of the whole remaking of our team, stadium and atmosphere.
