You should run those figures since 1991 if you really want a shock.

Holy shite. I've been led to believe Florida football started in the 90's on this site. There must be some type of mistake.
It pretty much did.
From 1945-1989 (44 seasons), you won more than 7 games in a season a whopping 12 times and had exactly 0 seasons with double digit (10 or more) wins.

LOL at Arkansas playing in the little leagues for 70% of that timeline before running up 9 losing seasons in the SEC.

By Gawd, there is no way Tennessee will ever beat that perpetual powerhouse from Missouri.
No way UT can regain enough strength to beat them.
(now do you Mizzou fans see how silly you sound?)

Losing seasons since WWII, other than history, what relevance does that have at this point?
Posted on 8/3/15 at 2:28 pm to hogminer
So, 13 winning seasons in 35 years is better than 9 losing seasons in 44 years?
Okay.
Okay.

... So, of the 27 losing seasons since WWII, 2/3rds of those came before 1970.

Mizzou had 13 straight losing seasons from 1984-1996, the Dark Ages of Mizzou football. What most do not seem to understand that this is the anomaly in Mizzou football history. That decade plus is why Mizzou is always looked over, it is hard to beat the preconceived notion that Mizzou always had and always will suck. What should worry Tennessee fans is that 1 they are in their own Dark Age and there is no guarantee it is over. Secondly there is no reason to think Mizzou will shrink back into that hole anytime soon.
