A&M or Tennessee.

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU hires Butch Jones next.

Sorry to tell you but Chip Kelly won't work in the south, he has a terrible personality.

Who knows. It will be interesting. I think he would do better in Texas because he doesn't have to work as hard recruiting, which is obviously his big flaw. Hating recruiting. Take 1 or 2 hour trips instead of hoping on planes is always nice.

Remind me again why he is the hot name. He never won a title in college, and was fired twice in the NFL. Mike Belloti built Oregon, so Kelly doesn't get credit with that either.

Not sure why a SEC team would want him. His teams lost to sec schools.

Kind of a silly requirement for hiring a coach at most schools. The list of guys that have and that are available is really small and not very attractive.

“My schedule, the day the season was over, was a lot worse than my schedule here because you’re planes, trains and automobiles recruiting from Sunday night until Friday afternoon and hustling back and practicing, getting a practice in Friday afternoon, practice Saturday, practice Sunday, get back on a plane and fly around the country chasing down recruits,” he said, via Sheil Kapadia of PhillyMag.com. “Maybe a misconception is when you’re a college coach and the last game is done and then the bowl game comes, you don’t have a month off. I would argue my schedule was more hectic from a recruiting standpoint than it was here.

Kelly hates recruiting. Not coming to a SEC school.

Mike Belloti's last three years at Oregon

7-6 Unranked
9-4 #24
10-3 #10

Chip Kelly's

10-3 #11
12-1 #3
12-2 #4
12-1 #2

To give a comparison, Bellotti had a .667 winning percentage his last three years at Oregon. That's identical to the winning percentage Florida's had the last three years. Chip took a decent Oregon program to the next level.
