Sumlin, Bielema, Miles,or Malzahn? Not a troll thread. All 4 are pretty much one disappointing season away from kicking the can.

Bielema. They were ready to kick his can to the curb after Toledo last year but a couple of overtime wins later they make him to be some sort of oversized coaching savant

I am going with Bielema then Sumlin. Malzahn and Miles are actually pretty safe unless the wheels come off this year.

I'd put Sumlin first on that list, with Malzahn a close second. Beliema teams get better every year, and I look for Arkansas to make some noise this year. Miles has got a super stacked team and probably weathered the storm, but you can never tell what he'll do. He may be vying for the pole position by mid November.

Please go back to Hogville. Bielema is nowhere close to being fired.

The other 3 I wouldn't be suprised to see they were sent packing after the season

Malzahn could be fired after this year.

This schedule is the type where poor play will put you out of a job quickly. A decent season and he survives.

Sumlin seems like a dead man walking unless they over perform. A&M fans probably know more about this, but I would guess they are not happy with him at all.

Miles is safe unless they go off the rails. They return a lot and could be primed for a run.

I think Bielema is safe too. I think he has a pretty good contract deal. But if they start slow again this year, I imagine fans will be pulling their hair out.

Bert has 2 more season minimum. LSU can't fire Miles for political reasons.

I'd say Sumlin's seat is the hottest, followed by Malzahn.

Sumlin - his teams seem to come out fast and play well early and then fade. Can that happen this year starting out against Josh Rosen and UCLA? If not he could be on the hot seat.

Gus - Auburn always seems to rise from the ashes and surprise when you count them out. Can that happen with Clemson as their first game of the year? A win could propel them. A loss would probably put Gus on the hot seat.

I have these two as most likely but they could also both have some success.

Gus is already on the hot seat IMO, and while the schedule is tough with a first game loss very likely, if we can get decent QB play I think he'll be set up to save his job.

I think 7-8 keeps him safe, especially if this team can progress instead of regress.

after he loses to LSU once again

when folks look back on aTm's first years in the SEC, they'll remember 2 things. 1. Train wreck Johnny Football & 2. Sumlin couldn't beat LSU.

Sumlin and Malzahn are on the hottest seats. I think Sumlin's may be hotter, but not really plugged into the mindset of A&M fans. Malzahn's got a tough road with their schedule this year. It could turn bad on him real quick with their September schedule.

Bielema and Miles seem safe.
