When the dust settles at the end of the year; I'm going to say Aranda. I think he's a more innovative coach than a system coach.

Pruitt, better talent and Saban on his side.

Aranda out of the 2.

Saban > Aranda > Pruitt though

We torched Pruitt last year. I expected a lot more out of him honestly. If Hurd doesn't fumble on the 1 yard line then we hang 45 on Georgia last year.

I think it's kind of funny how everyone is already calling Aranda a genius. Wait until he actually goes against competent offenses week in and week out (he doesn't have to go against LSU so it will actually be week in and week out) before labelling him that.

Nobody is proclaiming him a genius just looking at an impressive resume is all.

I think Aranda will be a good one, still not enough to offset you know who.

Pruitt would be shite somewhere like Wisconsin where he'd have to actually coach instead being able to out-talent people

Well Ohio State did drop 59 in them. So for me yes show me. I like the hire but I always take the wait and see approach.

Someone posted the average rank of the offenses Aranda faced while at Wisconsin a few days ago. It was in the 80s. I don't consider that facing competent offenses week in and week out like he will in the SEC

Ohio State could've dropped 59 on the Titans.

To be fair Gary Andersen left for Oregon State soon after that game so I think he and probably his staff didn't really prepare for that game.
