sure, Alabama is still the favorite, but i'd say they have a 51% chance of winning. it's not a foregone conclusion.

Clemson's defense is good, and on offense they have something no one else has. a true dual threat QB who is a great runner and a great thrower.

if Clemson scores 17 in the first half, saban may yet regret his decision to not implement a real offense this year. for all gumps, don't get too excited -I mean he went with the freshman who he doesn't rely on to pass, so the passing game is not developed. with that Alabama defense, and enough of a running game, that's been good enough.

it should be a real championship matchup, just like last year. the best 2 teams are left standing.

Anyone CAN beat Alabama. However, I don't think Clemson is that good.

Of course they can. If Watson goes off again they can win the game. He's exactly the type of QB you need to beat Bama.

But it's a tall order to be Superman just to have a chance.

anyone with a brain knows clemson can beat alabama ... and without a perfect game or bama turnovers ... our offense is anemic right now with no threat of a passing game ... clemson has a better defense than last year and a dynamic qb that can have the type of game that makes it look easy ...

I'm betting Jalen Hurts can (and will). I bet on Clemson last night as soon as the line came out.

As someone who likes numbers, can you show your work on how you derived this number?

You've been a good sport, unlike the WilliamWelcher21's of the world.

Of course Clemson can win. They are very good and are peaking at the right time. It's gonna be a tough, tough game. If Bama comes out and starts slow on offense it's going to be damn near impossible. I hope we can control Watson by keeping him on the sidelines. It feels like a game where the offense is going to have to win it for us. Defense and special teams won't be enough.

I definitely think they can. This is going to be one of the best matchups in years. Still have to give the edge to Bama because they have consistently gotten it done in situations like this.

Any LSU fan who puts another teams logo next to their name if a fricking hack in my opinion, never would I associate my name with anyone but LSU no matter who they're playing.

Is this an LSU fan saying someone doesn't have a "real" offense?

Clemson played a near-perfect game last night. Hard to be perfect 2 weeks in a row. Bama played one of their worst and still won convincingly. Tide rolls.
