I've seen Coach O mentioned but I don't think he's a viable option as he has no experience as a DC.

Orgeron. I honestly believe this has been going on behind the scenes for the past couple weeks and is why Orgeron passed on the USC job. Still don't know why in the hell Auburn is paying that much for Steele, but oh well, not LSU's problem

I'm very opposed to Orgeron as DC.
Maybe make him Co-DC in title but hire someone else with successful experience to implement scheme.

Auburn hires Steele, LSU hires Pruitt, Bama hires Chavis, A&M hires Manny Diaz, State hires a HS coach.

Ted Roof will probably be a candidate. Les spoke to Roof last year before hiring Steele. Auburn as of last week had spoken to Roof about their spot. LSU probably won't hire him but he will get a call from what I hear on the GT side.
