Kirk is probably more versatile, while Ridley is the better natural receiver.

Both are extremely talented.

1a and 1b; too different to directly compare.

Kirk is better in A&M's system. Ridley is better in Bama's system. Ridley will make more noise when the draft comes around.

Both are probably top 5-7 receivers in all of college football. With an edge to ridley.

Different type of receivers IMO.

I think it's crazy how everyone said there's no way Alabama will ever replace a guy like Cooper, and Ridley comes onto the scene.

Ridley is more of a #1 NFL Receiver type while Kirk is more of an explosive big play WR, punt/kick return, versatile guy. Percy Harvin-esque.

Isn't Ridley like 21?

I'd take Kirk in the open field all day long. So would any other honest observer.

Maybe I go Ridley if I'm looking to take the top off the defense and go deep. But am I really losing anything by taking Kirk over Ridley?

What is it?

Both are really good receivers though. Kirk got Alabama last year on a punt return.

I like Kirk but it's Ridley and my opinion is it's not close.

FTR, i'd be happy to have either.

Ridley can hold his own in the open field

I didn't watch Kirk enough to know his skillset as a WR, but Ridley runs elite routes, has elite top end speed and makes plays on the ball as well as anyone this side of Amari Cooper.
