Bears are one of the few (perhaps only) creatures in the animal world that are known to cover their own tracks. Pretty ironic.

I think we'll see Jay Hopson as OM head coach one day.

Mike Shula is the clear cut candidate.

Absolutely. Ole Miss will be completely fricked when this all hits the fan. None of these coaches that people are talking about will leave their current jobs to go to a school that will, in essence, have just been handed the death penalty by the NCAA.

When Ole Miss loses 25 scholarships or so, you can go ahead and write them off as a 2 or 3 win team for the next decade. They won't have any quality depth at all.

The next coach will be someone from division 2 or 3 or some such just itching to get his way to the big leagues no matter the circumstances.

ETA: It would be hilarious if they re-hired Houston Nutt. He will float his name for the job.

HDN, after all he did take them to TWO, I mean TWO Cotton Bowl victories.

They deserve each other and he is another Rev.

I think Shula or Briles would definitely be the top picks. However, if Charlie Strong has a successful year at Texas, I could see Ole Miss giving Tom Herman a call.

Dude if the sanctions are half of what you all are hoping for no way Herman even takes the phone call.
