Who coaches LSU in 2017?

Everyone knows that it won't be Miles and that the only reason Miles is returning is because Fisher said no thanks.

Will LSU throw more money at Fisher? I feel like Fisher won't leave a cushy situation at FSU. Is it Tom Herman? He certainly had a pretty good year and seems to be a great recruiter. With essentially another year to scout and conduct interviews, the LSU AD has no excuse to frick this up.

So who all will LSU look at?

As long as Miles can beat Texas A&M, his job is secure. But, since our series is about back to back 5 win streaks, it may come to an end next year.

This isn't a troll topic. You're a smart Tiger fan. Who do you think you will pursue?

It's difficult to believe you're not trolling, because it's 2 am and LSU's 2016 schedule is cush with many returning starters. Lots of SEC teams will be rebuilding too. It'll be difficult for Miles to not go 10-3/11-2, and with the buyout only going down 3 million that should keep him.

If LSU really did manage to tank, then Herman would be the fan favorite without question. I would like to see what Norvell and Chad Morris could do with more time, because I think they'll both be big time coaches.

To be honest with family friends that know Jimbo personally, he'll always be interested in the LSU job. People can be butthurt all they want about Jimnbo's interest, but he'd be at LSU if the state took better care of its flagship, avoiding the politics of higher education cuts in LA. I'd like Les to stay until 2017, which will be a rebuilding year for FSU (next year is allegedly "their" year).

tl;dr Herman will be the odds on favorite, even though I think 2017 will have a much more promising job market.

We won't need a coach after our current one wins the title in 2017.

A better question, what are you going to do now that the best player in your program's history (yet didn't accomplish anything meaningful) is gone? Any ideas?

I prefer anyone who doesn't incorporate wedding party lists in the coaching staff hiring process

As long as the idiot fans who were literally crying that Miles stay at the A&M game are there, he'll be here till he retires. How many consecutive losses to Bama and Arkansas, penalties, and terrible offenses will it take to wake people up?

For the millionth time, Quicksilver is an Ole Miss fan.

To answer your question though, if keep the OL the way it is; coach, poor recruitment of offensive lineman, etc., it wouldn't matter if we had Tom Brady back there.
