Demond is a starter. So was savage before he was hurt again. Also, isom is a starter.

But frick. How can we overcome losing woody paramore. That's just gonna be too much to overcome IMO

Neiko Thorpe may go early. Should be a first rounder.

You know, looking back over that list, something stands out:

Only Cam and Fairley are what any reasonable fan would consider 'great' college players.

Bynes and Stevens are iron men, and we'd be lost without them this season - but they really aren't amongst the elite LBs in the SEC.

Our OL played outstanding most of this season as a single unit - but you simply couldn't make the case that any one of them is the caliber of, say, Demarcus Love or Barrett Jones (who Bama missed terribly yesterday).

And our SR DBs, well, they've been horribly inconsistent all year long. Not possible to have too much of a dropoff next year.

Byrum will be missed, but we've got Doogie taking over next season, so we should be fine there.

Notwithstanding that whole 'death penalty' thing, naturally.

I think losing Byrum & Shoemaker is huge.. and Ziemba..

boy we couldve used Tiffen this year..
it changed some decisions where we would've kicked
a field goal imo.. i.e. 4th down gake against LSU

Shoe was all-SEC couple of years ago - lost his job to a walkon who was absolutely outstanding (Durst), then sucked his way out of the job this year to a true FR (Clark), who sucked it right back to Shoe.

We've almost always had solid punting at AU, this year was a rare exception. Clark was a pretty highly regarded punter in HS, here's hoping he lives up to it next year (we're gonna need him).

This is proof pos that bammers are obsessed with whats going on at AUBURN. A bammer posting of who is leaving in hopes of not losing again! Pitiful

People forget that Darvin Adams has kids, and millions of dollars sets him and his family up pretty nicely.

I know he wants to finish his degree, though. So, if he's not a high 2nd rounder then I don't imagine he'll go pro this year.
