Emmitt Smith would be 2nd and I can make a case for him being 1st. Stats don't mean everything.

Remember how LSU fans said Leonard fournette was going to
break herschels record, but now he isn't even in the top 10?

No, but I remember when LSU fans said Kevin Faulk was better than Bo.

And sure enough...

lol emmitt smith is in no way whatsoever the 3rd or 4th best back in the SEC all time. Another classic case of using a guy's NFL success and trying to apply it to college. Hell if that was the case Terrell Davis would be up there somewhere.

Don't get me wrong Emmitt was a very good college RB, but he damn sure wasn't one of the 5 best to ever play in the SEC.

Except that Faulk had more rushing yards and more all-purpose yards than Bo.

So, there's that.

Had SC been in the SEC during the George Rogers days (77-80), #3 would have an easy and indisputable answer.

Bo had 650 carries and 4303yards in his career. That's 6.6 YPC.

Meanwhile Faulk had 856 carries (over 200 more than Bo.) and 4557 yards in his career. For a YPC of 5.3.

A whole 1.3 YPC difference. Over 200 more carries than Bo and still barely squeaked out more yards. But I'm sure you were just trolling anyways. Carry on.

Don't blame me if Bo's a pussy and couldn't take the pounding.

Faulk had 46 rushing TDs to Bo's 43.
