I'm actually a little surprised that A&M hasn't gotten as much praise as UGA has for their win; nothing against UGA. I guess we will find out when UGA plays South Carolina next week?

What do you think about UGA's passing game?

Both were extremely impressive, but UGA does look a little more complete.

A&M dominating a typically solid SC defense in Columbia. I'm glad we don't play A&M during the regular season because objectively I don't think our secondary would be able to handle their prolific passing attack.

Georgia held Clemson to 15 total yards in the second half.

A&M dominated from start to finish.

I think that we need to see both SC schools play another game to answer the question really. I think SC was overrated, but not "shouldn't be in the top 25 overrated". Clemson maybe shouldn't have been ranked.

Regardless sucks to be CFB fan in South Carolina this weekend.

TAM gets SEC win

UGA gets ACC win

TAM was a better win.

Both were impressive.

I'd say A&M had a more impressive win simply because they went into Columbia and dominated. Not easy to do, even if South Carolina typically does struggle in the first game of each year. We'll see how good South Carolina is when UGA plays them in a couple of weeks. I suspect they will play us a lot tougher than they did A&M.

I think the book is still out on Mason and the passing game, but UGA 's WRs are going to have to step up - Bennett was the only only truly healthy guy with a lot of experience out there last night. Conley's shoulder is obviously bothering him, and I felt he was more of a decoy than anything last night. We will see if JSW and Mitchell are in the line up against SoCar, which is actually in 2 weeks. I would also imagine that the RBs, the HBs, and the younger receivers are going to be more in the game plan as well.

Aggie.

On the road. Everybody and their momma picking OBC. All the disrespect over no JFF, Evans, etc.

But, as myself and a few others with sage insights predicted, "They goan shock the world!! Shock the world!!"

agreed. I don't think Clemson is a good team, and we were playing at home. TAM dominated the team with the longest home winning streak in their house.

UGA vs USCe will be a good game.

A&M had the better win road SEC trumps home ACC, but I believe Clemson is a much better team than USCe this year. Young DB's and no d-line is a bad combination for USCe. If Georgia keeps things together is will be a tough year for their opponents.

While UGA's win was a solid opening day effort, the aTm win on the road at SC was way more impressive and important.

Clearly biased, but for God's sake -- Clemson's QB was atrocious. When you realize the kid just isn't going to make the plays throwing the ball, it becomes a bit easier to hold the running game to 2.3 ypc.

...unless of course you were playing A&M in 2013 -- then you could still run with reckless abandon.

Someone else brought this up in another thread, but I think it is important to remember that South Carolina hasn't played a team with an offense like aTm runs in awhile.

Plus, whenever a team loses a player the other team has to specifically account for on every play, it really shows. Clemson and USCe both lost players like this (Clowney, Watkins) and it showed.

Didn't Clemson also lose their top two guys in the secondary from last year? I know Breeland went to the NFL and he was pretty good.
