Since stats are apparently the only way to tell if a player is good or not on the rant, lets compare.

Quarterback A)

1403/2011 completions/attempts

69.8 completion percentage

15,793 passing yards

134 TD passes

34 INTs

QB Rating: 154.3

Quarterback B)

851/1354 completions/attempts

62.85 completion percentage

11201 passing yards

90 passing touchdowns

33 INTs

QB Rating: 147.1

Now tell me. Who was better?

Technically yes. But people seem to use stats to say players are overrated instead of actually watching them play.

Nobody is saying Treadwell isn't good. But picking among the handful of elite but not quite proven talents of the SEC WR crop is probably arbitrary at this point.

So, you're doing what you hate so much and in the form of a response thread? Rad.

Harrell was the better passer, leaving Tebow's rushing stats out limits at least half the story.

Also quality of competition is a huge factor...

Both were in the negatives in career rushing stats.

Some people watch them play & still don't agree with you.

Tough Break.

Every down: HD DVR.

I totally agree with your point, fwiw, and would love to have Treadwell on LSU's team.

A is Graham Harrell. B went 0-4 against UF.
