Has been the last 3 seasons. #24 in pass defense last year, with mostly underclassmen. I was skeptical about the hire at first, but hasn't been a bad one....so far.

Tell me what you know about UGA's secondary from 01-04. Thomas Davis, Greg Blue, Sean Jones, tim wansley, jermaine phillips, kentrell curry, demario minter, etc.
Any of those ring a bell? Martinez is an outstanding DB coach and lousy DC. Not sure why people don't get that.

One of the best SECCG was in 2001 when LSU took down the Pasadena bound number 2 VOLS. I went to the game and partied with LSU until way into the night.

Not sure if the vols had a good defensive backfield or just a good player in Sutton. He can play. The conference didn't have a bunch of stellar passers last season.
