Which team was less deserving of a spot in the NC game: '07 LSU or '11 Bama

I'll have to go with '11 Bama. Although they were undoubtedly one of the two best teams that year, the fact that they got a rematch against their own conference champion when they had already lost at home to them makes them slightly less deserving than a 10-2 conference champion that lost to two 8-5 teams.

Your second thread about 07 LSU today. Why are you melting over a team from 9 fricking years ago?

A team that loses to Kentucky and then gets beat by Houston Nutt at home do not deserve to be national champs.

I vote we keep the spirit of the day alive all throughout the year!

This thread would have been better if it just cut to the chase and changed all the words to "LOOK AT ME" over and over. We see you, Ham. Good job. Nice sail and all that. We good now?

you think this is melting?
Don't judge the art, just sit back and take it in. If you look at it just right, you may see the sailboat (like in Mallrats)

I would give you "obsessing" but in no way am I "melting." Please learn the appropriate usage of the word. I will give you some examples if you need some guidance, just let me know.
Personally, I think this is a great question that generates compelling arguments on both sides.

What if that same team goes on to win the conference championship and finishes higher than every other 2 loss team?

Well, he's certainly not melting

Apparently both were actually deserving. They both handily beat the only defeated P5 teams of those years "on the big stage."
Did I do it right? =)

Well the 2007 season was probably the most craziest year in college football. The way 2007 went, LSU deserved to get in. If it would have been a typical year, LSU would have gone Sugar that year

Why do you care? Because he has a pig next to his name? I would think even though you are honor bound to try and resurrect every stupid thread your posters here post you could admit that the premise of this thread is really stupid.

I could probably get behind this but people keep bumping the thread.
