1. One National Championship game
2. 4 team playoff determined by committee
3. 4 team playoff determined by committee (requirement to be Conf Champ)
4. 6 team playoff. 5 P5 Conf champs and a G5 Conf Champ. Top 2 get bye.
5. 8 team playoff. 5 P5 Conf Champs, G5 Conf champ, 2 next highest ranked teams.
Personally, #3 is the ideal option.

8 team playoff chosen by the BCS system

Give me a 4 team playoff determined by the BCS. frick a committee and their arbitrary, emotional response to games.

What an accurate description of the BCS

In option 3 if requirement is conference champ then why the frick do you need a committee

Id be ok with an 8 team playoff with games on campuses except for the championship

Because there's more than 4 conferences

I hate the conf champion argument when a conf champ will be left out. The only way I could support a requirement to be a conf champ is a power five and one at large.
At which point is like to see the sec do away with divisions. Schedule 2 OOC games. One power five team and a rent a win from your own state. The other games would be against conf teams.

IMO the Big 12 just needs to dissolve. I think most people realize it's just a matter of time before it does.
Now you have 4 power conferences. You take the 4 champions. They get seeded 1-4. Then you take the next best 4 schools in the BCS.

8 team playoff, chosen by me, based solely on uniforms.

If it goes to 8 teams, I think it would water down the importance of the regular season.
College football games matter every week, which makes it the best regular season in sports.

Of course you hate it, that's the reason you guys won the 2011 natty. Because apparently our regular season didn't matter. We should've played like OK state or some bullshite team and went home with that but..... les started JJ and we got fricked

BCS was a computer based system that used a very specific list of criteria. It is literally the polar opposite of having a committee... who basically just make up whatever arbitrary criteria they want on any given week, and we never know what those criteria are.

Has the committee gotten it wrong yet? I can't recall.

2/3 of the system was not computer based and was based on less solid criteria than the committee uses
