Is there any other team besides LSU who made it through last night?

Nope,

Hopefully the Cock, Dores, and Dogs will today.

Arky came oh so close. A&M and Ole Miss made if pretty far.

Why not just use google?

Why clutter the board with this thread that will surely end in flames?

The topic at the top of the board was too hard to find. I believe you smoked him out there Patton.

FWIW, we're still in our first game of the Regional finals. Storm delay.

Thats sweet of you to say but we suck and have been on a steady decline for 5 years. It would make my year if we fired Bianco today. May sound crazy but I am not joking whatsoever.

Since 2007, we have hosted ONCE. ONCE.

Let's examine how Bianco has done since those extremely talented teams 05 through 07 vacated Oxford.

2008 - lost in the Coral Gables Regional (made it to championship game atleast)

2009 - Hosted regionals, advanced, hosted a SR and lost games 2 and 3 after winning the first with a walkoff HR.

2010 - lost in Charlottesville Regional (went 1-2)

2011 - Didnt make Hoover or NCAA Tournaments.

2012 - Lost in College Station Regional after winning our first 2. TCU beat us twice.

2013 - Lost in Raleigh Regional. Went 1-2, Losing twice to W&M, giving them their first 2 NCAAt wins ever.

Every year is essentially the same thing. I'm over Bianco and his style of micromanaging every damn aspect of the game.

Say what you want, but OM is atleast a top 10 Baseball job nationally.

It has the facilities, fan support, and local talent to without question be much better than we are: MEDIOCRE

Truth be told, I picked UCA to win yalls regional.

So, if my math serves me, I would not be wrong.

Look at Tanner Mathis's career... Here's a guy that's a graduating senior... He NEVER played a postseason game on campus in our stadium... That should never happen... Not with the salary, support and resources our baseball coach is given... We didnt spend ~20 million renovating our stadium to not host postseason baseball there.

Oh, I thought I remember you saying you picked USA and your buddy picked UCA. My bad.

Exactly. Agree 100%.

Another thing -guys like Mathis, Allen, Huber, etc are the same players they were when they showed up 4 fricking years ago. No progression. Sophs Orvis and Bousfield (guys we expected to add some pop) absolutely sucked at the plate this season. We could go on and on.

And dont even get me started on the whole clusterfrick of us losing Chase Nyman - a MS kid from Goula who would have been one of our best players and perhaps an all-sec freshman type player who left for Chipola JC after being in Oxford for less than 48 hrs due to a "miscommunication" about his financial aid. Simply unacceptable.

Vice versa.

WTF was up with all the state fans leaving last night in the 8th?

Lemme rephrase - we have to pieces in place to be a top 10 baseball job. By no means are we top 10 at the moment.

Yeah.. We couldve used Nyman.. We couldnt have asked for more from Helsel defensively but the last time he put a good swing on the baseball was that double he hit against UK in game 1 of the SEC tourney.

A lot of people had to drive 2-3 hours home and get to work this morning, so that's the only thing I can think of. Still, it's silly and probably only saved them like 10-15 minutes.

I never, ever leave a game early, but last night, I was tempted to leave in the 7th (I believe) when they put up the 3 spot. I told my gf that if they got one more hit, then we were gone. (That's when it was runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and hit would've made it 7-2)
