I've been to all but Missouri and I agree with the OP's thoughts on SC. Not only is the off campus stadium a detractor, Columbia is a smaller and shittier version of Baton Rouge. However I would say the worst hands down is Arkansas in Little Rock. That shithole of a stadium is so far from suitable to host a college football game it is comical.
My favorite trips are the usuals Oxford, Tuscaloosa, Athens etc and I'll also throw Knoxville in there. Possibly because I had a student ticket for the 2013 UGA game there but it was overall a blast of a gameday till they blew the game at the end

This is so subjective. If you are a partier pretty much every town has some semblance of that life. Probably your bigger cities have more.
If you are an older fan you're not looking for the best bar scene. Contrary to OP's statement South Carolina is my favorite. We stay in Charleston which is spectacular year round with great golf and fishing. Knoxville is hard to beat staying in Pigeon Forge. Beautiful country there and lot of outdoor activities. Not into New Orleans and stuff like that. Never go to the strip in Ttown. All Oxford and Starkville provide is a place to get wasted. Not good road trips at all. A&M is pretty good as we stay in North Houston with some great golf courses.
It all depends on what you call a "worst roadtrip". My definition of a great road trip would probably differ from yours.

Let me sum up this thread:
Alabama- Nothing great, nothing terrible (outside the fans)
Auburn- Not great, not terrible, people enjoy the stadium experience
Georgia- Most people rank this top or near top, but some people don't like the fans
Florida-lot of hate on gainesville. not sure why
Ole Miss- Alot of haters of the grove. Or should I use the phrase "over-hyped"
Miss State- Bit of both
Missouri- Most people haven't been
Arkansas- little rock...awful fayetteville...good
Vandy- nashville.
Tenn- Haven't seen a whole lot on this thread
Kentucky- nothing much
A&M- a few male student jokes, but pretty positive.
You forgot..
South Carolina - shitty off campus stadium, in the shittiest part of the shittiest city in the USA.

I’m not even going to summarize these responses. But to those who claim UGA is the worst, you obviously haven’t experienced Athens. Let me guess, you drove in for the game the day of, parked at the intramural fields, caught a bus to the stadium and went straight to your seat?
As a student and now Alumnus, I’ve been to 50-60 games and I’ve never once seen any spitting (I get the joke) or beer throwing. I’ve seen 2 fights. In 2008, a drunk Auburn fan attempted to rip down a tent and he got curbed stomped, rightfully so. The second fight was in 2010 vs. Tennessee. A few of my fellow Dawg "fans" tried to pick a fight with two Tennessee fans, who were minding their own business. As a result, the dumbass instigators got their arse kicked by fellow Dawg fans.

If anyone says Starkville, they haven't actually been to a gameday there. It's not that bad. I rank it above Tuscaloosa.

I hate bars on the strip. Downtown is so much better. If I wanna go out and see a game at a bar, I'll hit up the Inisfree Irish Pub, Willigans, or Catch 22 (haven't been to Catch 22 in forever though).

second worst is College Station.
Again, LSU obsession noted. However we are very upset that we were not the worst. We'll try harder.

The worst that I've seen there is grown men barking at you. That just makes me laugh.

Only been to three, LSU and that was delicious, Tuscaloosa and those guys were fun, nice stadium and Texas A&M. I'll never, ever, ever go back to Texas A&M.

So I guess it's acceptable for grown men to call 20 year old coeds the C word and yell for them to get the F out of Athens or they will rape you? This was my daughters experience at Athens last year when she and her friends were walking from stadium. They were just minding their own business. Yep over sensitive Auburn fans.

I have enjoyed all of my road trips around the SEC (Oxford twice, Auburn twice, Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida). The worst of those was definitely Arkansas, but I attribute that to it being Black Friday.
Florida had the worst fans, Ole Miss had the worst venue, but Arkansas (likely due to them having a losing season and Thanksgiving) was the most dead. I would like to explore the rest of the SEC as well as get a chance to return to Arkansas when the students are actually there.

I know you won't believe me, but I actually have had beer thrown at me in Athens. It was in 2007 when South Carolina won.
UGA fans were really really pissed and were melting hard after that game.

Sure it happened just like that. Walked out of that stadium 100 times and never seen anything remotely close to what your saying. Now if some blacked out frat boy said something in comparison to the arse raping AU just received, then get over it. Happens everywhere.
in prep for football season I'm going to spit on the first AU fan I see.

Go write an open letter about it you sanctimonious auburn turd.

I did walk by a car and notice a couple Georgia fans getting it on. This was in downtown Athens about 45 minutes after the game ended. That was also in 2007. That was a weird night.
