Texas A&M, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU. Thoughts?

Across the 3 sports, I'd go with Arkansas.

I wouldn't argue with A&M, either.

If Alabama would do something with Coleman Coliseum they'd certainly be in the top 3.

Vols baseball stadium knocks them out of the conversation right off the bat.

In my completely unbiased opinion, Tennessee and it's not remotely close.

Arkansas and the Aggies have very nice facilities across the board. Not just for the Big 3 sports but a lot of the smaller sports as well.

Not saying that to knock LSU, Bama, or the Vols, who all have some great facilities; but overall I'd give the nod to Arkansas with Texas A&M a very close second.

I agree. With that empty walk of champions and high school stadium with that 1 "co-division champion" banner and confederate flags, OM is tough to beat.

I wonder how many posters have seen all 5. I've seen TAMU's and I can't imagine much better.

Some of y'all might have some nice facilities, but LSU has the best gymnastics facility in the world. That's all that really matters.

Kentucky has spent a shatload over the last decade to either renovate or build new facilities for every sport except baseball, which is about to receive a brand new $32 million stadium as well. We're certainly in the conversation.

Looooong way to go for anyone not in the OP to catch A&M or Arkansas facilities-wise.

Hell it's a long way to go even for some of them.

Across the board it's hard to argue against the Aggies and Razorbacks. They have beautiful facilities.

Arkansas wins this, not even close really. DWS is okay, but their non-revenue facilities are phenomenal. Baum is the best in the country. Bud Walton is bigger and nicer than Reed. Yeah, pigs win this category.

I wonder how many times this thread has appeared in the last few years. I will predict that the responses will be almost identical to the gazillion other threads on this.

the SEC facility "race" is ludicrous. waterfalls in the locker room, artwork, etc, etc.

a gigantic waste of fricking money. sure, the basics need to be there but the rest should be foregone and the money saved put to a better use. athletes are fricking pampered too much anyway.

We don't really have a choice if we want be good. The only chance we have is to be close to the top facilities wise.

Which is why I responded the way I did.
