Offense is worse under a Saban offensive disciple than it was under a Saban defensive disciple.

Maybe UGA?

Definitely Georgia. Recruiting classes. Smart not making as many mistakes as he did last year. I would say we are happy with the direction we are going right now.

Kentucky, possibly.

Yes, I would say that beating a team you haven't beat since the Reagan administration counts as progress

Don't bring Reagan into this.

But, what I was trying to get at, was we beat southern Miss, we were supposed to, we beat EKU, we were supposed to, I think the USC game was a lean to losing, and we won.
Florida doesn't look at that great, but until we beat them, you have to consider them a better team. So beating this is forward progress. That's what I was getting at.

Look at all the Kentucky fans in this thread. I didn't know there were that many Kentucky fans.

LSU has gone 8-0 in the SEC but never gone 0-8 in the SEC.

LSU has the ultimate trump card for feeling good compared to all other SEC west teams.

I can see why barners are concerned with the offense but losing to Clemson by a touchdown isn't the end of the world. They can still attain all their goals even make the playoffs. An elite defense can carry you a long way especially in the SEC when we all suck balls right now.

I'm sort of happy about Bama so far. Definitely not the level of MSU or Vandy happy, though.

Hoping that our injuries at LB resolve sooner rather than later or else I might put money on MSU to beat Bama.

And LSU...

Agree MSU,Vandy and Bammer. UK and UGA fans will probably kid themselves and tell you they feel pretty good, but they'll go to flummoxed on a dime and they know it. Kirby hasn't proven much of anything yet and Stoop's got a chance at home to beat a very mediocre UF team, but in the end he'll never win jack in the SEC.

The rest...... not so much.

It's a bizzaro year. I'm happy for Vandy and State fans thought, they deserve a taste of success. I know it won't happen but a State vs Vandy SECCG would be frickin awesome.

I doubt it will happen, but it wouldn't be that hard to imagine. MSU's major challenges are Bama and UGA. Beat the former and lose to the latter and they're in. Vandy has a bit more precarious a path, but even if we lose to Bama, the other Big 6 teams we're playing aren't exactly having banner years. It's not inconceivable -- hell, we just did it recently -- that we could beat them all plus UK. So MSU and Vandy would be in the game under those circumstances. With a bit of luck, both could even lose a second game and still make it.

Cal accidentally set the alarm clock two months early. Imagine their surprise when they emerged from hibernation to discover Halloween was still a month away rather than a month in the past.

You all do realize we have a large football fanbase? Heck, I know quite a few who are football only fans. College football is 1a for me, basketball is 1b.

The "Kentucky only cares about basketball" jokes can be funny but we really do care about football.

That Vandy defense is legit. I'm looking forward to their game with Bama.

Me too. As long as nobody gets hurr and the team competes hard, the Dores can move on to Florida with heads up. UF is the least scary they've ever been.

East is between Vandy and Kentucky. Maybe Florida if they can build on how they finished that Tennessee game.

The West?
Miss State needs someone else to beat Alabama.
